The ABV cap though, both for draft and sales outside of state-run stores, needs to go. But as we've seen on this site, there is disagreement even within the beer community about the effects of such changes.Douglasnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15458742.post-32504966780910385432009-10-16T09:17:47.509-07:002009-10-16T09:17:47.509-07:00Thanks for the link. He said he is a non-Mormon and a social drinker.<br /><br />"My conversations with the governor centered on him wanting someone on the board who is familiar with economic development and has an understanding of travel and tourism," he said. "I believe that is why he picked me."<br /><br />I'll stay cautiously optimistic for now, but I'm not holding my breath for any noteworthy reforms this time around. Honestly, other than allowing heavy beer on tap, or better yet, getting rid of 3.2 period, getting rid of the quotas for licenses, and allowing personal keg purchases again, there aren't too many potential reforms that I care about, and I can't see the commission taking us too far backwards at this point.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
