RoHa - Jeffeweizen: Jeffeweizen the Hefeweizen is a German-style hefeweizen that bringing a good dose of banana and peppery clove. This is a classic representation on this yeast driven style. Definitely worth checking out if you like the style. 5.0% - Available now at RoHa

Salt Lake Brewing - Lunch LadyThis new rotating tapIPA features Citra, Elaini and Mosaic. Nice & herbal with citrus. That seems to be the case a lot lately, but it's a solid hop combo. Some lingering bitterness, but not very strong. If you love a classic pale low that's low in caramel flavor, you'll enjoy this. 5.0% - Available at SL Brewing/Squatters downtown.

Uinta - Petrol Plonker: This NZ Pils is brilliantly clear. Mostly herbal nose with some citrus peel. Tastes follows. Herbal hop bite with some orange rind bitterness. Excellent pils malt profile with nice toasty grains. Shoulda got a stein. 5.0% - on Uinta's R&D handle.

Ogden Beer - Dolcita IPA: Made with Lallamend Yeast and Dolcita hops this beer is juicy with stone fruits, in particular peach rings. 5.0% - Only at Ogden Beer.

Kiitos - KernzaKiitos is back with another 100% sustainability grain beer. This 100% Kernza lager is only 1 of 2 in the world. Made with Audacia hops, this lager has slight berries notes with flavors of rose hip and herbs. The grain is earthy and rye-like with a dry herbal finish. Note: this is NOT gluten free. It pretty cool that Kiitos is doing beers like this and we get to be on the front lines of experiments such as this. 4.0% - Only at Kiitos.

Fisher - Marionberry Watermelon Lemonade Stand: Tastes as described, yet unlike many in the Lemonade Stand Series, the marionberry and watermelon come through quite prominently. making for a very balanced experience. 5.0% - Available now at Fisher.

Grid City - IHOB Maple Porter: A classic robust porter brewed with barrel aged maple syrup. Dark, roasty, with intense chocolate overtones. The crystal malt gives it enough sweetness to balance the dark malts and hop bitterness. The barrel aged maple syrup lends a dryish rich maple finish. Try in on CO2 and nitro for two totally different drinking experiences. 5.0% - Available now at Grid City.

New Beer Friday 11/14/25

Due to a random sandwich assault, we here at UtahBeers"R"Us are suffering extreme trauma and our beer descriptions may be askew due to the overwhelming amount of onions and special sauce. permitting our shirts. Your "Thought and Prayers" would be most welcome. Oh, and Happy New Beer Friday.

Chris Cross joins Steph and Mikey in the radio pub this afternoon. No, it's not the singer/songwriter, Chris is the owner and "Distiller Extraordinaire" at Eden's New World Distillery. If you've never experienced what's coming out of the innovative Northern Utah Distillery, you're in for a treat. 2pm every Friday - 99.9fm KUAA as always.

Red Rock - The Ginger Experience: Has a nice pickled ginger aroma with a hint of whiskey. The taste follows. That pickled ginger thing is nice. Just the right amount of zip. The whiskey is complimentary with mostly vanilla and oak showing up. Wasn't sure l'd jive with this, but if you're a fan of pickled ginger, it's money. 6.3% - Available at All Red Rock locations.

Rabbit's Foot - Ojo de Liebre: Nice and malty. Some mineral bite too. Some toasty grains round it out with some of those caramel, vanilla, and smokey flavors from the agave. 5.0% - Only at Rabbit's Foot Brewing.

Bewilder - Nitro Brown: This debuts today, I think names says it all. Can't wait! 5.0%

Prodigy - Space Glassier: This is
a hazy pale ale bursting with citrus, stone fruit, and sweet tropical notes. 5.0% - Only at Prodigy.

Home Range - Small Hazy IPA:  Brewed withNelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Mosaic. Look for a refreshing bouquet of lime and grapefruit, along with notes of gooseberry and underripe strawberry. 5.0% - This small batch only at Home Range.

Uinta - Winter WarmerLight cocoa, light roast, virtually no char. Super clean with light bitterness. What's not to love. Definitely not a "winter warmer" though. 5.0% - Only at Uinta.

Uinta - Two Guys One PintNo idea what the hops are here. Looks like a hazy, tastes a lil more West Coast. Light citrus with a lot of herbal elements. Then it finishes fairly dry with a lingering bitterness. Somewhat one dimensional, but super drinkable! On the R&D Handle. 5.0% - Only at Uinta.

Mountain West - Quince: All quince. Very apple forward. Definitely on the sweet side with a more pronounced body. No spices added but it definitely has a spicy flavor profile (allspice maybe). For a sweeter cider, this is something to look at even if you like a dry cider. 6.5% - Available at Mountain West.

Mountain West - Pomegranate Orange: This cider made with pomegranate & orange is a nice combo of the two. It looks like a pomm cider, it's so dark, but the flavors are so much more balanced. Citrus - then berry - with apple. A great cider blend. 6.5% - Available at Mountain West.

New Beer Friday 11/7/25

We've done some remodeling here at Utah Beer Headquarters. To ensure maximum visibility we made sure that the shitter is perfectly level with the window's bottom seal. We're all about transparency in our beer reviews and....well.... everything else apparently. Happy New Beer Friday!

What is a Beehive Brew-Off? It's only the state's largest and longest running home brew competition. As its date gets near we thought it would be a good idea to get into Utah's history regarding home brewing and how competitions like this foster not only great beer, cider and mead, but community as well. Mark Alston, Grand Poobah and head keg washer at the Beer Nut will be joining us Friday at 2pm on 99.9fm KUAA. KUAAfm.org/

2 Row - Juicequake: This IPA Wes brewed to celebrate 2 Row's 2nd anniversary at their new location. It features Idaho 7, Motueka and Ekuanot hops. This is as described. Juiced. Lotsa zest and juicy citrus meat & some resiny hops. The finish adds just smack of hop bitterness. A super crusher. 5.0% - Available Saturday 11/8

Park City - Yes JeffMosaic, Nectaron (Abstrax) and Cashmere hops are apparently making any Jeff say “yes”! Mikeys Likey too. Big citrus, mango and peach are abundant here. So much happening here. Hop saturation is high and it tastes like it. 5.0% - only at Park City Brewing.

Park City - Jupe-PowAdina and Hallertau Blanc hops drive this tasty new rice lager. Lightly sweet pils malt starts it off with some nice lemony hops backing it up. As grainy and malty as it starts it finishes fairly dry. 5.0% - Only at Park City Brewing. Soon in 16 ounce cans.

RoHa - Brewers Select (Tipsy Tigress): This new IPA features Citra, Comet, and Cascade hops. It has a great malt profile. Now let’s pile on a ton of citrus hops. Orange in particular. From there it's pretty much a citrus party. 7.8% - Available starting today at RoHa.

Retuning Favorites

TF - Superdelic: THIS version features a hop salad of Superdelic, Mosaic and Nectaron. Yeah… it’s… badass. Soo much raw citrus zest, pile on some blueberries & shload of stone fruit. Available starting today. 8.5% - Available starting today.
