I write about beer a lot, but my day job has had me working in TV news for the past 26 years. It's always a pleasure when I can merge my love of craft beer and work. Luckily, my management at Fox13 saw something special in my latest project when the gave the reigns to write and film this story on Strap Tank Brewing Co. It's the first brewery to set up shop in Utah County since the 1880s. and from what I've seen, it looks to be a destination brewpub. The video is at the top of the page. Very cool! Hopefully the locals will at least come in and try out the food. As for me, I will definitely come down for a pint or two and some lunch sometime. Preferably on a Sunday if he is open for business then. Looking forward to it!
