I don't think that anyone have ever accused Epic Brewing Company to lack in innovation. To back up that statement, I'm pleased to bring you this preview of this new collaboration beer between Epic and Mexico City's Cerveza Cru Cru. This gose style beer is made with some unique ingredients. It features a couple of Mexico's lesser known delicacies; Chapulines (dried crickets) and Maguey Worm Salt (agave worms).
Believe me, the Chapulin Gose's formulation was a nightmare to get approved by the Feds, due to it's unique additives. I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of 'buzz' in regards to this beer when it hits the market. Needless to say, this will not be a vegan/vegetarian friendly beer. Plan on it being packaged in 22 ounce bottle. No word yet on it's exact release date, so stay close. Chime in! Will you be checking this one out when it hits?
Salude!
