New Beer Friday 3/18/22

It's Not easy doing New Beer Friday research on Saint Patrick's
Day. Too many enthusiastic beer nerds clamoring through my once quiet afternoon watering holes, screwing up Princess Mikey's sensory beer smorgasbord for hours upon end! Luckily, I'm sort of a professional and forgone my typical beer diva hissy-fit, so that I could stay up to the wee hours of the morning and deliver this most important part of your week, so bright and early this fine Friday morning. Truth be told, not much writing will be happening this morning, as I enjoyed too many beers and whiskies Thursday afternoon. Trust Me when I say, the stuff that I had was brilliant and worth you're hard earned quatloos. Cheers.

Grid City - Oatmeal Cookie Stout (nitro): This comes out today and It will defiantly be on my list today. Grid City's nitro offerings are always top notch. 5.0% - Only at Grid City.

Hopkins - Irish coffee Stout: This take on a classic cocktail is brewed with Irish whiskey and coffee beans. Full of all the roast characteristics you'd expect from an Irish stout, complimented with heavy coffee notes and a touch of whiskey.

Hopkins - Dublin Slammer Stout: Brewed with lactose, vanilla, Irish whiskey, and coffee. Inspired by the popular shot of an Irish stout, whiskey, and cream liqueur. This sweet stout is bursting with chocolate, vanilla, and coffee notes.

Epic - Yelling at Clouds: This "Cold IPA" is quite nice to see a clear IPA for a change. Aroma is grassy and citrusy. Taste follows. It's much more dry. The hops are bold with lots of orange peel and herbs. The finish is bitter, but not too lingering. Quite DANK.

Offset/Cellerma -Guest Experience: This "Hazy West Coast" pale ale features hop HBC586. This is a new hop that's getting a lot of buzz. It's complimented by some awesome 2021 Simcoe and a fire lot of 2020 Centennial. Tropical, Terpy, Floral vibes and as good saturation as two breweries can concoct. 5.0% - Only at Offset Bier.

Offset - Pineapple Mango Curuba:Missed this one. I think you get the drift from the name. 4.8% - Only at Offset Bier

Strap Tank - S.I.B.: "Strong Independent Beer" is a Belgian Single or table beer. Sorry, missed this one. 5.0% - Available at both  Strep Tank locations.
