New Beer Friday the 13th 3/13/26

Two months of New Beer Friday the 13th in a row? We are living our best lives! or not.... This is supposed to be an unlucky day. But not for you–luckily we have some great new suds to make your weekend brilliant.

Cocktail Collective is serving up drinks in KUAA's radio pub this afternoon. Cocktail Educator Alexi Fisher will instruct us on creating the perfect cocktails. 2pm is our happy hour every Friday, check us out on 99.9fm or stream us at KUAAfm.org/

Uinta - Barrel Aged Detour: This West Coast Double IPA, found its way into french oak barrels that contained Beehive Distilling's Jack Rabbit Gin.There's nuth’n like starting your day with a 10% DIPA. This full flavored beast is big and hoppy with chewy grapefruit rind, pine caramel malts. The gin is noticeably with nice juniper and botanical notes. Lingering finish with some booziness. Not for the meek. 10.0% - Available at Uinta starting today.

Offset - Krushing On Thora: This Krush and Thora hop combo produces tropical and citrus aromatics that strike a balance between bright fruit and deep resin. Dusty citrus notes. There’s also some spicy herbal hops. Not minty… but mint adjacent. Really damn crushable (no pun intended)! Some stone fruit and melon round it out. Verdict: Dry, well hopped, absolutely enjoyable and “krushable”. Tasty stuff.

Moab - Lifty Lager: I'm a lil' confused about this one. There's a Lifty Wheat Ale currently being poured at Moab Brewing. Now a Lifty lager in cans? Yeah, sure. It's a little confusing. Not tried this one either–have you? please share. 5.0% - Available at Moab Brewing.

RoHa - Red Snake: Creamy malt profile. Reminds me of Brach’s caramels. Hops start with some light pine and go to citrus peel from there. It’s got a nice round mouthfeel that’s has that legit Red Ale feel to it.

Talisman -  Peach Pils: Missed this traditional German pilsner made with real peaches. 5.0% - available now at Talisman.

Cheers!
