Happy New Beer Friday the 13th. We have a nice array of flavors today from lagers to sours - to stouts and IPAs. Pay attention to the availability dates as some aren't available until Saturday.
Green Urban Lunchbox stops by the radio pub this afternoon. Rachel Tibolla, Exc Director of GULB and Erika Palmer of Mountain West Cider will fill us in what Green Urban Lunchbox is and the lovely cider they've collaborated on. Hit us up at 2pm every Friday at 99.9FM KUAA.
Ogden Beer - Vibe Czech: Toasty grains, light sweet malt character. All Saaz hops that put off an herbal lemony bitterness. Nice drying bitterness that doesn’t linger long. Nice pils. 5.0% - Only at Ogden Beer
Hopkins - Sixth Anniversary Rye IPA: This collaboration ale with Fisher Brewing debuts Saturday. No notes on this one. 6.6% - Only at Hopkins.
RoHa - Task Manager CTRL+ALT+BIER: This Altbier is light, toasty aroma. Taste starts the same with more toast and a light caramel profile. Some light cocoa toward the end with a finish that’s herbal & leafy. Available at RoHa
Desert Edge - Gingerbread Stout: Roasty nose with slight gingerbread spices. Taste starts with gingerbread and cocoa it’s not super sweet, just enough to give the spices something to play with. Not a huge fan of gingerbread, but it works well here. 5.0% - Available at Desert Edge.
TF - Giddy Up Grisette: This spent about a year in Chardonnay brls w/ Rosé must. Moderate grape character in the nose. Some horse blanket funk too. Tastes bright and fruity with light brett tartness. Less grape-y than aroma. Dry overall with great wine notes/oak. 6.5% - Available at TF starting today.
Cheers!
