New Beer Friday 1/31/25

Congratulations! You've made it through Dryuary. Now what? Glad you asked – for your first day back we here at New Beer Friday Analytics have compiled a list of beers scientifically designed to ease you back into beer culture. Please enjoy, but take it easy.

The Radio Pub at the KUAA Broadcast Megaplex welcomes back, cherished Beer Guinea Pigs, Allen Handy and Marcio Buffalo to analyze our next mystery beer style – so you don't have to! Beer Nerd Radio gets underway at 2pm every damn Friday at 2pm. See you then!

Epic - Small Batch Series (Pineapple Express IPA): Pineapple weighs heavy in this IPA. It features Pineapple Express terps, 200 lbs of fresh pineapple & all Citra hops w/ fresh tangerine and pineapple. Slightly weedy, overall vibe is pineapple and citrus. Damn juicy. Welcome back fr Dryuary. Mikey Likey! 7.0% - Available at Epic starting today.

Chappell - This Is The Hazy: This Double Hazy IPA is Chappell's first "high point" beer and was brewed with a pile of oats and wheat for a heavy body. Over 4lbs per barrel of Bru-1, Sabro, and HopHaze F-bomb extract. Look for a lot of tangerine and melon notes. Note: There will likely be a very limited amount of this produced so don't wait until next week. 8.0% - Only at Chappell to go.

Chappell - Miso Sour After Soaking: This sour ale is brewed with white miso giving a unique umami pop paired with ginger and yuzu. Super refreshing and super unique. 7.0% - Only at Chappell to go.

Park City - Silver Creek Amber Lager: Missed this one. 5.0% - Available at Park City Brewing.

SL Brewing - Citradelic: Can’t go wrong with Citra. This Cold IPA has a toasty base beer minimally sweet, nice citra hop character. It’s basically a citra pils. 5.0% - Available at SL Brewing/Squatters

SL Brewing - Glinda's Blackberry: It has a ruby red grapefruit color. Smells of fresh blackberries. Lightly tart! It gives the fresh berries the ability to taste like fresh berries. Drinks really well. Not a lacto sour FYI. 5.0% - Available at SL Brewing/Squatters

TF - N/A Hazy Pale Ale: Not sure what the actual name is for Templin Family's debut N/A beer, but look for a Citra and Mosaic hopped beer with notes of lemon and raspberry. 0.0% - at TF starting today.

Cheers!
