Happy New Beer Pie & Beer Day Friday! It's a rare time when these two beloved events line-up in one blessed calendar day. To celebrate we here at Utah Beer Ensembles, Thespians & Toe Tappers have created a new musical to ring in this most hollowed holiday. There are some breweries that created new beers just for today, and cherry seems to be the theme. Please enjoy!

Epic Brewing - Pie & Beer Day (Cheery Pie Cream Ale): Subtle sweetness. It’s a cream ale for sure without the “cream”. It’s not sweet per se; malty for sure! but that subtle amount of cherry really takes it to a level that is more happy and less intense. This is a fun ale, best paired with a savory pie🫡🍺 6.8% - At Epic.

Silver Reef - Pie and Beer Day (Cherry Sour Ale): Missed this sour cherry pie ale from our friends in St. George. 5.0% - now at Silver Reef,

2 Row - Pie-Oneer Ale (Cherry Pie Sour): Tart base with a definite cherry twang. Lemon backs it up with a medium amount of lactic tartness. The 7.5% ABV is well hidden so pace yourselves. 🤘😉

Level Crossing - Microcosm Session Hazy Pale Ale: Big Peach & melon aroma. Hmmm. Lotsa hops here, light malt body with an abundance of hop flavors. It taste like they’ve packed a lot of hops in here. it dodges between varieties peach, citrus, melon, mango & flowers. Wish for more malt to make it perfect. 5.0% - Very limited amount Only at Level Crossing West Temple.

Uinta - Test Phaze (Lab Sequence 006): Kind of reminds me of a fruit salad of peach, tangerine & guava & a hint currant. The 8.0% has some 👊💥 with a whole lotta DDH hoppiness that lingers for a tiny bit. NEIPA purists likely will find it too hoppy. Perty damn tasty. At Uinta.

Bewilder - Brew - Lab (Early Aughts IPA): This Old School IPA takes U back to the days of big malt & chewy citrus/piney IPAs. There’s flavor in thar! Mostly piney nose. Big malty pop! Smoove all around with pine & citrus hops. Full mouthfeel with nice lingering hop bitterness🤤😌 6.4% - Available at Bewilder.

Zion Brewery - Flying Monkey: Missed this Strawberry and Banana Hefeweizen made with Strata hops. 5.0% - Available at Zion Brewing and at  Zion Brewery Station #2.
