Epic - Tart n Hazy: This is a foeder (oak aged) soured blended IPA. Funky nose offers up some citrus along with a hint of softer fruit (like peach). Think tart may be more descriptive than sour overall. Their is also an undercurrent of earthiness that help accentuate the citrus profile. Wood is a bit more evident in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Finish is crisp and dry. 7.0% - Available at Epic starting today.
Strap Tank - Spitfire Coffee Cream Ale: Missed this one. Made with local coffee from Mindful Coffee Co. 5.0% - Only at Strap Tank (Springville).
Mike Hess - Claritas: Pours a hazy gold color with an aroma full of biscuit and cereal grains, some dusty honey and a hint of orange/lemon peel. taste-wise there's some nice, bright floral hop and citrus bits combined with some biscuit-like grains. Faint sweetness on the finish 5.8% - Found at Slackwater (Sandy).
