More Praise for Labyrinth

Over 1800 of some of the finest beers and ciders were sampled at The Ninth Annual Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beer in Chicago last Saturday. The country's first and largest beer festival dedicated to the art of wood and barrel aging.

62 different breweries across 22 States participated. 30 awards were handed out, and no surprise Uinta Brewing Company's Labyrinth Black Ale walked away with a Sliver Medal in the Strong Porter/Stout category.

I know many of you have already had Labyrinth but in lieu of it's recent praise on the world stage I felt it was due another mention.

Labyrinth pours black with a two finger brown head that left good lacing. The nose is of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, molasses and a touch of vanilla. The flavor starts rich, big and slightly sweet with dark chocolate, caramel, dark roasted malts next comes black molasses, coffee, oak and some notes of vanilla bourbon with a sticky full body. Finishes slightly dry and warm.

Labyrinth is in wide distribution around the state and this is the perfect time of year to take in big, bold beers such as this.

Cheers!

I love me some Labyrinth. I'm not cracking a 750 of this beast every night but when I do it's amazing.

Labyrinth is possibly my favorite beer from any of the local breweries, glad to see it is getting well deserved attention.

This beer is amazing. If I could stop there, I would, but I can't. This flavor, is delicious. I can't get enough of this wounlerful taste. AMAZING!!! This is life changing and I will never stop singing the praises of this beer. By far beyond me. At first I thought that this was one good dam beer, but I realized that this was the best dam beer that I've ever tasted, ever. This is so dame good don't let this beer go out of production. This is the best value for your money. It doesn't matter I would easily pay twice as much for this beer and even moor.. If I find a beer beater than " Labyrinth Black Ale, at a cheaper price I would be so happy, because I can't afford to drink Labyrinth every day, it is so dam good. This is the best beer that I have ever drunk. I will always be a fan. I will never be happy if "Labyrinth" is no longer served. Please, don't discontinue my favorite beer of all time. I truly enjoy this beer. This beer is amazing.
