IPA Day: 2013

Happy IPA Day! Today you are invited to celebrate the history, art and science of craft beer; raising a glass to the men and women who bring your favorite IPAs to your glass. From craft beer newbies to long-time craft beer veterans, anyone and everyone can join in the worldwide toast to one of craft beer's most beloved styles, the ever-iconic India Pale Ale. All you really need to participate is an IPA in hand!

I'm not aware of any specific organized events going on today in Utah, just grab a mixed 6-pack or a growler of your favorite IPA and invite friends over to celebrate. Here are some great locally made suggestions.

A reminder for our Southern Utah beer lovers; The Festival of Flavors, Brain Head’s annual beer festival will be held August 2-4, 2013. The festival will span over two locations on the mountain: Cedar Breaks Lodge and Brian Head Resort. Each location will have a different theme for food and provide entertainment and appropriate settings for every member of the family. Cedar Breaks Lodge will feature a beer garden while Brian Head Resort will be open with its daily activities along with the Brian Head Free Fall, rock climbing wall and mechanical bull.
