It's been a slow, slow beer week. But hey, that's my problem to deal with, you don't see me dragging my kid into it like some people. Anyway, not a lot happening beer wise this weekend, but there are some special versions of Hopulent to look forward to.
Bohemian Smoked Hell Yes: Mesquite-esque smokiness in the nose with hints
of biscuit beneath. The taste is full of sweet malt, and smoke with a
hint of spicy hops. The mouthfeel is on the lighter side of medium. A
very nice smoke beer. I could easily drink this on a regular basis. 4.0% ABV @Bohemian
Epic Centennial Hopulent IPA: Me no have yet. This is a special edition that is all Centennial hops to celebrate the 100th batch of Hopulent.
Epic Amarillo Hopulent IPA: The nose is sharp with citrus zest and big, bold pine. The taste is
fruit salad. With orange, lemon, and grapefruit - all fresh and in your
face. Some floral hops flesh
things out, until the unassuming caramel malt supporting act kicks in. 8.3% ABV @ Epic
If you havn't tried Uinta's Ales for ALS White IPA yet, get on it it's drinking incredibly well right now. Damn it's juicy!
Avenues Proper's Hopspital IPA is back on tap as well. 4.0% ABV @ Avenues Proper
Cheers!

Forgot to tell you, that I've seen Hop Nosh in cans at the liquor store.
