New Beers for SLC

I was talking to Mark over at the Bayou the other day and he's says he's got some new stuff coming to Utah that's never been sold here before .

First off, since Deschutes came into the market people have been clambering for other labels from those guys. Mark says he's got orders in for Inversion IPA - Obsidian Stout - Mirror Mirror - Black Butte XX - The Abyss & The Dissident. These are all subject to availability, so nothing is set in stone.

New on the list is Bear Republic Brewing out of California. Racer 5 IPA - Red Rocket Ale & Big Bear Stout should be arriving..... well ..... soon. That's the best I can do for now.

Also, Keep checking on the Epic Poll that was listed yesterday. Due to server issues it went down premature. Should be up again soon.

Also, also Uinta Bourbon Barrel Barleywine should be in stores tomorrow.
Cheers!

Oh ya,
That Racer 5 is pretty hoppy. It'll be a big it with the hopheads, Packs a massive columbus wallop!

Awesome. Bear Republic Big Bear Black Stout looks amazing. Also, a new IPA sounds great.

I follow The Bayou on twitter and apparently they have Inversion IPA, Obsidian Stout and Mirror Mirror in stock and chilled.

Mikey,

As Kent said we got in the Inversion IPA (man is it hoppy!!! mmmmm...) Obsidian Stout and Mirror Mirror.
We also got in the fab Black Butte XXI "Porter brewed with chocolate beans and coffee added with 20% aged in bourbon barrels." Had one last night. Freaking awesome. Didn't mention it last night because we only got invoiced for 5 bottles. We all started squirreling them away (had one hidden for you btw) and then found out we actually got 5 cases so the word is now out.

F'ing DABC's markup makes them kinda spendy though. Hopefully we'll get that heavy beer wholesale bill passed next year

Thanks for the heads up guys. I actually went on a Deschutes bender last night at the Bayou. Had everything execpt the Black Butte XXI. That stuff is 11% abv! Just couldn't muster up the strength for such a huge beer. Cheers!

Stopped in for lunch today and had a couple of the Inversion's, delicous. The Anderson Hop'otin was my previous favorite but this beats it hands down imo. One of my co-lunchies tried the Black Butte and it was damn good as well.
