This strong, dark beauty hails from Belgium and has a bit of a kick to it. So be respectful or that Pink Elephant will be showing you the business end of that trunk. Mark Alston knows what I mean... Eh Mark???
Pours a dark brown with amber highlights. Two fingers of foam quickly fade to a thin cap. The nose is of apple, dark fruit, bubble gum, maltiness and spices. The flavor starts slightly sweet, with musky malts and an earthy spiciness. The end has some prunes with a mild tartness to it. Alcohol is noticeable and it finishes dry. Creamy and medium-bodied in the mouth. A good Belgian dark ale. Definitely worth a try, especially for lovers of the Belgian style.

Nice choice. Man, I want to go to the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. If I brought my credit card I'd spend hundreds.
I tried this last night and it was delicious. It's 8.5% but very subtle in it. I'll be grabbing another soon.

Where do you get this one? Bayou? I just scored some Delirium Tremens at the wine store, but I didn't see this one.
Yeah Ed, I had it at the Bayou. Actually they have the whole Delirium line there, including Delirium Noël! Cheers!

Is this available at the liqueur stores in Utah, or just specialty shops and certain bars? I'm in the Ogden area and I've heard great things about Delirium Tremens, as it was recently recommended to me.
Brady, I believe that Delirium Nocturnum was only available at the Bayou. However, Delirium Tremens should be available at most liquor stores. Cheers!
Thanks Mikey, I wasn't able to find it at the Liqueur Store on Main Street in Roy. I imagine it is in the imported beer section?
I can check the store in Ogden, but which stores have you seen it in SLC, just in case I can't find it?
And how would you compare the two, I've heard that Tremens finishes sweet and sits around 12% alcohol. How would you compare that to Nocturnum?
I thought Nocturnum was only available at the Bayou. I've certainly never seen it at any of the liquor stores I frequent.
Brady both of those Delirium beers are not as boozy as you think. Tremins comes in at 9% and Nocturnum at 8.5%.
Nocturnum has sweet-dark-fruity notes. While Tremens has an apples and peaches thing going on.
I would call ahead to the stores in SLC before going, but I'm confident that you'll find Tremens at the wine store on 300e. 250s.

Thanks for all the help guys! My bud and I were able to find Tremens at the liquor store in Ogden around 30th and Harrison Blvd, behind The Pizza Runner. They had 7 bottles and we gobbled them up without a single regret.
