A Quick Update....

It looks like Uinta's Bourbon Barrel Barleywine will be available starting Monday or Tuesday. only 320 bottles will be available for the entire state. Stash some away for a rainy day, but not for too long. Uinta says that this ale is perfect for drinking right now.

Thanks to Douglas for doing the legwork on this.

Cheers!

Do you know where? I'd love to get at least one of those 320 bottles.

Thanks!

Lee, They're in the warehouse but not in the system yet. I recommend checking both downtown wine stores or call the dabc distribution center at (801 )977-6800. Cheers!

Just wait until early next week, there will be bottles at some places- like Mikey said probably at the state wine stores and some others.

I called the Downtown wine store and they expected to have theirs on the Thursday shipment. Max 3 per customer.

Excellent! Thanks for checking Brendan.

I stopped by both Salt Lake wine stores, and neither one had any. And the people there seemed to have no clue that they were going to be carrying them. I guess I'll check back next week.

I went shopping for them as well, no good. One if the joys of working with a monopoly I guess.

Talked to wine store again. They expected them in last weeks shipment but they didn't come. They said to call the day before their delivery. Downtown is on Thursday and 3rd W, 15th S is on Wednesday.

This is now at the new wine store on 3rd west. I picked my 3 bottles this afternoon. They are at the counter, not with the other beers. Going to sample one once it's chilled.

At the counter huh? Interesting. Thanks Andrew. Let us know what you think about it.

Hit the liquor store and they pulled this because of a computer allocation problem. Hell if I know what they mean but it does mean that they stopped selling it till next week.

This is bloody ridiculous! How hard is it to sell a beer that's made in your own city? I need a beer...
