Awesome post, Mikey.

Also awesome: The Bayou's online list. When was this created?

(poor college student) are there any real/cask ales on tap here in the big UT?

Carlos, It's only been online for about a week.

Trevor, yes. Wasatch Brewpub, Desert Edge, Squatters, The Bayou, McCool's have cask beer engines. I think I'm missing someone....

Damn, I'm craving that Struise Tsjeeses beer so bad!

I had one last Christmas. I need about 4 more.

I just wish they were open in the daytime on Sunday so we could go there for our beer club (always an afternoon event). Plus I'm afraid to drive at dark after I've had a few.

Good call on the Christmas beer book. Picked up my copy in Utah (Of all places...at Cabin Fever in Trolley Square...yeah, I get up that way now and again.) Happy Thanksgiving to you Mikey!

Mark or anyone, do you know what vintage of Zinnebir Christmas (X-mas) the Bayou has right now? I forgot to check if it was 08 or 09, they are different brews.

I ordered two bottles each of Bad Elf and Very Bad Elf. The Bad Elf is good, the Very Bad Elf is ok. If I did it all over again, I'd go with only the Bad Elf. Great flavor!
On the other hand... I had two bottles of Ninkasi Double Red, and it is AWESOME!!!

Was the Double Red at the Bayou?
